LITTLE BLUE CAR

So yesterday Mom, Dad, Kitty, Penny, Lo and I went up and floated the Truckee River. What a blast that was. Everybody was having a good time. And I'm not just talking about everybody in our raft. I mean everyone on the river. I recommend if you have the time and money to do it sometime.

Well I have to tell you that on our way up we barely cross over the California border when we start to see signs for road contruction ahead. Then we see signs that the left lane is going to merge into the right lane. So Dad goes with the flow of traffic and gets over. Before long cars start to pass us. That is typical. What wasn't typical was the blue car up ahead of us getting over to the left lane and bringing all other traffic in that lane to a halt. Ok maybe not a halt because he kept moving. But he did not go any faster than the traffic in the right lane. Causing all the people who thought they could get ahead by going around the slow traffic to slow down. Every one in the car thought this was great. Of course the thing that was great was that all these cars start honking their horns. What is that going to do? Wait your turn like everyone else.

Now behind this blue car is a silver car. And this silver car is bent on getting around everybody else. He rides the blue car's bumper so close that you couldn't squeeze a book between the two. Oh it was so great.

By the time we get to the cones that ease over to the right lane all the cars behind us that had been in the left lane have managed to merge into the rest of the traffic. We let a car in that is in the left lane. But that blue car doesn't get over until he absolutely has to and he has made sure that all the other cars have gotten over. Including the silver car who has no choice but to stay where he needs to be.

So to this wonderful person who decided he needed to do something. I say THANK YOU!

The best part is that he had california license plates!

As a tag on V decided to put pieces of toilet paper into the toilet and then play with it. I'm just glad that he can't flush the toilet yet.
